  • Arrival in Shanghai, China
  • Transfer from airport to the city by Maglev Train*
  • Check-in at the hotel (three star)
  • Time to relax and freshen up at the hotel
  • Dinner at an Indian restaurant

*Magnetic Levitation Transport, or Maglev, is a

form of transportation that suspends, guides and
propels vehicles (especially trains) via
electromagnetic force. The train runs from
Longyang Road station on the Shanghai subway
line 2 to Pudong International Airport, and the total
track length is about 30 kilometres, with an
additional, separate track leading to a
maintenance facility. The train takes 7 minutes
and 20 seconds to complete the journey, and its
top operational speed is 431 kilometers per hour.

Day 2 - 20 July

  • Packed breakfast, early morning departure from Shanghai to Anqing
  • On arrival in Anqing, check in to your hotel
  • Time to relax and freshen up at the hotel
  • Lunch in the afternoon
  • Later the day is free for personal activities
  • Dinner in the Evening at an Indian restaurant

Day 3 - 21 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel
  • The day is free for preparation for next days eclipse.
  • Lunch in the afternoon
  • Evening time free at leisure
  • Dinner in the Evening
  • Return and overnight at the hotel

ECLIPSE DAY- 22 July

  • Early breakfast at the hotel;Transfer to the eclipse
    site for Solar Eclipse Observation
  • Late return to the hotel, late check out from the hotel
  • In the afternoon transfer to Shanghai; Lunch en
    route to Shanghai
  • Dinner en route to Shanghai
  • Late Evening arrival in Shanghai
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 05 - 23 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel
  • Sightseeing for the day*
  • Lunch in the afternoon at an Indian restaurant
  • Time free at leisure and for shopping
  • In the evening enjoy the Huang Pu River Cruise
  • Dinner in the evening at an Indian restaurant
  • Return and overnight at the hotel

*Sight-seeing: Half day city tour of
Shanghai City, a visit to temple of Town
God
(Chénghuáng Miào), a major Taoist temple in Shanghai - Jade Buddha Monastery, followed by
visit to the Nanjing Road, Xintiandi, People's Square & Century Park Square.

Chinese culture has much to see and do.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the modern symbol of
Shanghai City. Standing beside the Huangpu River and
the Bund with a height of 468 meters (1536 feet), it is
the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third highest in the
world. This unusual structure that dominates the skyline
is a great attraction to tourists.

Day 06 Shanghai 24 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit to the Shanghai Space and Technology Museum
  • Lunch in the afternoon
  • Free time for shopping
  • Enjoy the Acrobat Show in the evening
  • Dinner in the evening at an Indian restaurant
  • Return and overnight at the hotel

A brief on acrobatic show:

Chinese Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing
arts with its history tracing back to Neolithic times,
during its development in the history, it has been
absorbing plentiful merits from the opera, dance and
Chinese Kungfu, and formed its own artistic
features. In Acrobatic Show, in a very typical
Shanghainese setting and atmosphere, you will
enjoy many breathtaking and stunning programs
such as Calvaria Skills, Silk Suspending, Hoop
Diving and so on performed by very skillful
performers, you will truly have an unforgettable
experience of your life.

Day 07 Shanghai ~ Beijing 25 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel, check-out and
    transfer to the airport to board your flight for
    Beijing
  • On arrival in Beijing after the baggage formalities, transfer to an Indian restaurant for lunch
  • Later check in to your hotel
  • Time to relax and freshen up at the hotel

    The day is reserved for the meeting with the Indian
    Ambassador
  • Evening time free at leisure
  • Dinner in the evening at an Indian Restaurant
  • Return and overnight at the hotel

Day 08 Beijing 26 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel
  • Visit to the Great Wall of China
  • Lunch in the afternoon
  • Visit to Ming Tombs and the Olympic Village Site
  • Dinner at an Indian restaurant
  • Return and overnight at the hotel

Day 09 Beijing 27 July

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out
  • The day is reserved for the Sightseeing to the Forbidden City and the
    Tiananmen Square
  • Lunch in the afternoon at an Indian restaurant
  • Free time for some last minute shopping
  • Transfer to the airport to board your flight for New Delhi, India
